Should the Sea Level barometer reading be the same as Sea Level or not ? I
guess not but how low should the reading be either way around Leicester ? I am reading 1007 currently for Sea Level / Local Level, which one should be altered if any ? -- Adrian www.vengaboy.plus.com |

As I post this (0845Z), looks as if the mslp (Sea Level pressure) should be around 1017mbar to keep up to date with hourly charts, use:- http://meteocentre.com/analyse/map.p...lang=en&map=UK Don't bother with station-level pressure; it won't allow you to relate to sea-level pressure charts without having to apply corrections for your altitude all the time.
