Default Who to believe?

Looking for the forecast for Malvern today Metcheque says partly cloudy,
the BBC say Sunny intervals, the Met Office says heavy rain,
Weatheronline says heavy rain. So who to believe?

Believing one (or in the case of the MetO and Weatheronline, believing
both) does not necessarily preclude the others.

I thought you were a weather bod, or is that a different Simon?

It will start off being partly cloudy, during the day there'll be heavy
rain, though by the evening there'll be sunny intervals. ;-)

As an amateur weather watcher I'd say looking at the current Meto
radar that it's skirting North of you... that could of course change
soon ?!

I think here in Northallerton I'm going to start seeing the rain after
lunch time... shame

I would discount Metcheck. The BBC's forecasts are supposedly supposed
by the Met Office, so one wonders why they are different. Forecasts for
individual cities are I believe wholly computer generated, so may not be
very reliable. You would be better off looking at the forecast for the
West Midlands.

Personally I think the best way is to view the latest BBC video forecast on
the website rather than reading any text forecast, you get a far better feel
for how the day will develop.

And I've never liked those computer generated city forecasts, totally
useless.

I refound a useful little addy today so that you can see how a run up
takes shape.
forecasts are all very well but we also need a reanalysis to go with
it all otherwise we just get half a pictu
