Despite being told on the News 24 forecast at 17:58 that the weather had
been bad 'across the UK', which we find very irritating, today has been the nicest for some time. Maximum 24.2°C, the highest so far this month and since the 11th June. Not the warmest day, however, with a mean of 16.4°C (24.2/8.7) compared to 17.3°C (22/12.6) on the 4th. Cloud 6/8 Cu for most of the day with a light SSW breeze. -- Alan White Mozilla Firefox and Forte Agent. Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, overlooking Lochs Long and Goil in Argyll, Scotland.
