Currently the time is 2030. It has been raining for 30 minutes - at it's
maximum rate at around 2015 the Davis VP2 was giving a rate of 281mm /hr: In other words if it had continued for another hour at this rate we would have had Sheffields monthly total for June. Total rainfaall 21mm in 30 minutes. This is Monsoon rain!!! It is the first time my flash flood alarm has been activated. From a soggy Leeds Rob Farsley |

I always get this, but the flash flood alert is the next one up! I thought I had been hit with lightning since I have not set it - it's automatic Regards Rob "Neil" wrote in message ... Here in Goole, East of Leeds it is gettting very dark towards the Leeds area. |

It's heading East Northeast, but I think we had the extra lift over the
higher ground. On the rainfall radar the brighter echoes were to the West of Leeds. "My Own Words" wrote in message ... "Rob Brooks" wrote in message ... Currently the time is 2030. (If it's any consolation, the citizens of Oxford are getting a little upset about the rubbish outside their doors too.) |

Here in Harehills, East Leeds (t'other side of city), I didn't even
notice the rain last night until I saw the evidence collected in the plant pots in the yard. I would have at least heard it at 8pm, I wonder if we missed that cell?
