I've just found an alleged weather forecast page for Fochabers at
http://ukie.accuweather.com/adcbin/u...lcode=IV32%207 It says "Currently at 5.26 p.m. SNOW". It then says "Get details" but if I click on it, it says it cannot find my location. Now I am looking out of the window and I can't see any snow at the moment. Not surprising, when I look at the forecast and see that is says 5.26 whereas my watch and the clock on th 'puter both say it's 4.26. So I presume that either the forecaster is a time-traveller or s/he has a crystal ball. As I say, I'm impressed - NOT!! Anne To reply replace the rock with my surname |

I did and the information appeared to be right. Victor |

Well it wasn't on the screen I got! It seems you need to put in your post code. I had already done that to get to the screen in the first place. It was when I clicked the 'get details' button that it told me it couldn't find the location (that is, when navigating FROM a screen with the post code in it. I did and the information appeared to be right. I've just pulled it up again. It now says it is 6.22 p.m. (it's actually 5.22 GMT) and that it is snowing (it isn't). And it's still unable to find my location for 'Get Details'. Anne |

When I click on "get details" and then enter my postcode in the box next
to "We were unable to find your location. Please try again" it works. Are you sure you're entering the postcode correctly? Yes. I just think that having entered it once to get to the first page, if it offers more details it should not need me to re-enter the post code. It's sloppy programming. Anne |
