With the rain and the effect on parking & traffic, we will not be going

What has the weather stopped me doing? Here goes:

1. Sweating like a pig when practising the trombone.
2. Gawping at scantily-dressed young women.
3. Mowing the lawn.
4. Getting up, except last Friday, obviously, when accurately timed
measurements and photographs had to be taken.
5. Studying the night sky.

The nights have often been clear though, at least in the last couple
of weeks here (Southampton) despite rather iffy days. ISTR a lot of
unseasonably overcast nights in May and June though.

While the water supply was restored on the 31st July, it's only today
been declared safe to drink.
