Newcastle - 27C?

That doesn't seem right to me, a 3C rise in the last half hour. I can well believe a fohn effect is taking place under these conditions but that seems rather excessive. -- Col Bolton, Lancashire 160m asl |

(at 14Z). On the other hand it's been 27° at two consecutive hours. Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. |
