.... (1410Z): thunderstorm now 'past' (distant rumble, but cell has
clearly gone away). Rain abruptly down to light around 1410Z - just
going to measure rainfall, which should be interesting.

.... 18.9 mm, the bulk of which fell in the period 1330Z - 1410Z (as
above). Still very light rain, and heavy cloud cover overhead, but
blue sky to the immediate north.

We were driving from Barton-on-Sea to Kinson at about this time. It was
indeed very wet there and the A35 through Christchurch was flooded but
just passable. Blue skies to the south and east now!
