Since 00:00z, 17.2mm. 15.4/14.3°C, 93% 8/8 St/As, base locally c.200 metres, generally c.500 metres. SW at 2 mph. 1009.3mb, falling. We now have a 'Flash warning' in force, valid from 17:00 to 23:59, issued at 14:30 and updated at 16:00:- quote Outbreaks of heavy rain are likely to become persistent during the rest of the afternoon and this evening before easing away later, giving totals of rain of 25 to 40mm widely, with perhaps in excess of 50mm in one or two places. /quote -- Alan White Mozilla Firefox and Forte Agent.
