Only a maximum of 15.0C today. After last weekend's scorching weather this
one could have not been more opposite. In fact, I had to give the thermometer a double take because I just couldn't believe it at first, only 15C max in August, I'd never have thought it possible. I pity the ones braving the rain and cold conditions at the nearby Beautiful Days festival. Currently at 19:40, 13.2C, RH 79%, DP 9.6C, 1011.5 mb (R), Wind 13 mph NNW Gusting 25 mph, 10 minutes of sunshine so far today! ________________ Nick G Otter Valley, Devon 83 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |

Tomorrow's not looking good in this neck of the woods either, with
persistant heavy rain tomorrow's maximum temp may struggle to get higher than 15c or 16c. |

Today must be one of the coldest August days on record for many South
West resorts, temp has not got above 15c (15) yet. A total of 37.8mm of rain has fallen in Teignmouth since 08:00, making it the wettest day here since June 2005. |
