August 2007 near Dundee
August 2007 in Lundie, Angus, in the Sidlaws, 10 miles NW of Dundee,
elev. 185m. The coldest in my records, and probably since 1993. Rainfall was close to average. The minimum of just 4.8C on the morning of the 20th is a new record low for August for me. I'm fed up. Average maxima = 17.7 (-1.9) Average minima = 9.4 (-1.6) Mean = 13.6 (-1.8) Highest maximum = 23.5 (24th) Lowest maximum = 13.6 (18th) Lowest minimum = 4.8 (20th) Total rainfall = 55.6 mm (89%) Most in a day = 18.6 mm (18th) All readings (except grass minimum) from a brand new shiny Davis Vantage Pro 2.
