Default Rainfall radar image archives

I see that Avbrief are currently storing their 15 minute rainfall
radar images for 48 to 72 hours (currently everything back to 0100 on
6th October is available). Hopefully it's not just because of the
weekend. You need to be a subscriber and go directly to the image
links such as
http://www.avbrief.com//newcharts//2...0_lradar_0.gif to
get images more than a few hours old.

But I suspect that there may be even longer archives than this
available to the general public. Can anyone point me to such
archives which are cost-free?

.... and choose 'Archive': remember that imagery is stored / displayed
using CET (i.e. GMT +2 or BST +1)
