Default Hopeless forecast!

After the excellent forecast yesterday I'm afraid last night's forecast for
this morning is way off so far. The promised improvement just hasn't
happened. It was supposed to be windy, dry, cloudy at first then brightening
to give 18C. At the moment it is 11.8C, raining steadily as it has most of
the morning, heavy grey skies and not a breath of wind. Oh well, probably
just local variation ;-(

Dave, 10.30 a.m , S.Essex.

I think the low centre took a slightly different path, into northern
France.

Just have a little patience; the air out west originated somewhere
close to ex-ts Karen if my runes serve me correct.

Yes, I retract that to some extent. After 11.30 a.m the forecast was pretty
much in line. I was probably sulking because of some outdoor work I had
planned for first thing, although the early rain was nevetheless a surprise.
