[WR] First air frost of the year in Dundee region
My first air frost of the year: -0.4C last night at 1 am, although it
got a bit cloudier after that. There was enough rime to cause 0.2 mm precipitation this morning. The frost is neary two weeks earlier than my long-term (11 year) average here. That of course means a winter colder than 1962-63, 150 mph gales, and a long, hot dry summer next year, etc. Trevor Lundie elev. 180 m, 10 miles NW Dundee http://www.personal.dundee.ac.uk/~taharley/ |
