It has been observed by one of my colleagues that this autumn is
turning out, it seems, to be a classic autumn ref the gradually
changing trees around work: beautiful. Then he commented that we had
so far avoided any autumn gales. I am beginning to think that we will
avoid any major gale right through November - and not for the first
time.
Obviously there is plenty of time to go but does it not mirror an
autumn of a few years ago, when it was very quiet really right through
to Christmas.
Today i may make some progress sorting out the £10 bet with another
colleague
