Mellow October, with a couple of exceptions. Temperatures a little
above normal both by day night. Coldest October since 2004 (10.7)
First October air frost since 2003, first October grass frost since
2003. Although we enjoyed 23 dry days, rainfall was 17% above average.
The fact that 91% of The total monthly rain fell on just two days (9th
and 16th) gives a rather distorted view of a quiet settled month.
