![]() I watched Sky weather for an hour, half an hour ago. It dealt with nothing but storm warnings and explanations re the impending surge. I then turned to the BBC News channel as the weather came up - not one mention of severe weather. One nothing - the other frightening the life out of millions of people, crazy. John |

John Perhaps the point is, - "those who have a limited interest in severe weather should follow the synoptic situation themselves, rather than relying on the media to forecast something that they are quite capable of predicting on their own" |

This graphic will make people near the Bristol Channel and along the Thames think they are under threat now!! b) The graphic at the bottom shows air pressure pushing down onto the sea causing a bulge with the caption "Low pressure forces bulge in sea surface"!! Stupid and irresponsible to link to this IMO. |

Carol Kirkwood covered it at some length on News 24 at 16:56 and 17.30 this afternoon and BBC1 news at 22:00 gave extensive coverage in the main bulletin. -- Alan White Mozilla Firefox and Forte Agent.
