Default Penzance - Lovely Morning

What a difference a day makes. The 36 hours to 09:00 this morning saw
35.8mm of rain. Yesterday was just simply dismal, though not
particularly cold down here (Max 10.1C, but there was no way it felt
like it). Last nights minimum 4.7C.

This morning has seen those beautiful conditions you often get right
in the centre of a slow moving low. No wind, very pleasant long sunny
periods, some patches of dense cirrus, deep blue sky, and the towering
cumulus of showers running eastwards along the SE horizon. I was
working out at Mousehole and the superb visibility made the the Lizard
point seem so close. Needed the shades having coffee in the garden -
sadly no camera.

Stayed dry & fairly sunny all day. A bit surprising considering the
unstable air & the 'warm' sea. Lazy, laid-back looking swell in the
bay today (sorry if I'm getting too technical). Maximum gust 10mph.
Max temp 10.8C, felt a good deal warmer in the calm conditions.

I'm rather hoping that tomorrows rain doesn't get this far west.
