May but off topic, but I am interested to hear if any of you have
signed up to Google's 'adsense' on weather related websites, or any others for that matter. Just wondered if it was worth registering, and if so, whether it is obtrusive or not. Thanks Steve J |

Pays for the hosting which is nice. -- Jonathan Stott Canterbury Weather: http://www.canterburyweather.co.uk/ Reverse my e-mail address to reply by e-mail |

I just have in the header and footer, what you do have to watch is the content I get a few "inappropiate" ones at times or ones of a very weak link. Maybe that is down to the verbage on the page(s) or the lack of any meta keywords. Always worth a try! I have adsense on my Canterbury Weather site (link below) and it brings in about $35 a month. I probably just contributed to your monthly $35... -- Cheers Dave. pam is missing e-mail |

Thanks Steve J I've had Adsense on my weather website since July 2006 and it's yielded a total of $17.68 in that time. Jonathan is doing really wll at $35 per month, but I haven't really optimised my site for the ads, so could probably do a lot better. If you blend them they can do quite well for you. I like the way your tables are set out. Just one thing though, I'd check your max wind gust for October and December this year.
