Just a normal strong to gale.
Heavy showers all day with a F7-F8 on the exposed moor. Some hail in the showers with temperatures 4-6C. Some sleet on windscreen driving back through Princetown at 1430. A good walk today, shortened to 10 miles and nothing unusual, but a tad wet underfoot with water flowing freely in many places and rivers high, white water on the Dart pleasing the kayakers. In brief dry interludes very good visibility. Max gust here in sheltered Haytor (at least from the west) 33 knots at 3m agl. Will. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A COL BH site in East Dartmoor at Haytor, Devon 310m asl (1017 feet). mailto: www: http://www.lyneside.demon.co.uk/Hayt...antage_Pro.htm DISCLAIMER - All views and opinions expressed by myself are personal and do not necessarily represent those of my employer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
