Sleet- does this count ?
After a foggy start and temps hovering at 1c just had a heavy but
brief shower, some sleet observed, spotted falling on car windscreen parked in drive !! Timed at 1151hrs Temp was 2.5c Does this count as white christmas ? Paul C Brampton, Cumbria 117m ASL www.bramptonweather.co.uk |

We drew the line at one punter who insisted we counted a hail shower, even though the temperature was +6C. I think he had a few hundred on a bet. |
