Default 12C at Leeming, Wasp flying about the garden !

Just been watching a wasp flying about the garden, wouldn't believe
the temperature could raise so much in 36 hours as when I went out to
drive the car on Christmas night the rain on the windscreen had frozen
on so hard that I just had to wait for the car heater to get it off,
need screen wash and de-icer had no affect !

Just going out for a walk, going to chance it as I've been watching
the rain try its hardest to get over the Pennines from the West...
Hope I don't get too wet when it does !?

Oh I love British weather...

Here's my response posted the

At this time of year only queen wasps are alive and, as they typically
hibernate inside sheds or in roof spaces, its emergence presumably
reflects the level of the heating in the building concerned.
