Default 12z ensembles "pretty"

My wife just casually wandered into the study while I was perusing the
Weatheronline 12z ensembles for Norwich. She glanced at the screen and said
"pretty" and wandered out again. Says it all really!

Whilst hill walking my wife will often refer to scree slopes as "nutty
slack" moraine fields as "humpty bumpities" and triangulation points as
"those pointy things" . You think they could be sisters Dave ?

--------------

I have to say my post was mainly aimed (but not entirely ;-)) at
demonstrating the imense spread of coloured lines indicating the
uncertainty. Having two grown up daughters and spending the last thirty
years or so surrounded (dominated?) by three independent thinking women I
deserve to get away with more sexist comments than most though!
