The equal (with 1996) coldest since we moved north (also 1996). It was
also quite dry, with 32.0 mm (53%) of rain, making it the driest since 2001. Average maxima = 5.4 (-0.9) Average minima = 0.1 (-1.3) Mean = 2.8 (-1.1) Highest maximum = 12.9 (4th) Lowest maximum = -1.4 (21st) Lowest minimum = -6.8 (22nd) Total rainfall = 32.0 mm (53%) Most in a day = 6.2 mm (27th) The most notable event of the month was the continuous frost (and fog) from 3 pm on Thursay 20 to 11 am on Saturday 22nd - a total of 43 hours of frost - an equal record for me here, with December 2005. This frost included the lowest temperature of the year, -6.8C, early in the morning of the 22nd. All readings (except grass minimum) from a brand new shiny Davis Vantage Pro 2.
