Hail then snow!
Temperature at 20.10 was 7.9c at 20.30 it was 2.2c!
Amazing drop in temperature! Very heavy hail has now turned to snow with the very strong southerly winds swinging round to west, north west and easing. Weston Coyney weather station (North Staffordshire) 220 metres asl -- Graham |

Quiet now though, but there are still some BFO echos on the Met Office RADAR on my patch. Rob. |

Weston Coyney weather station (North Staffordshire) 220 metres asl Snowing heavily now with a covering already, quite amazing! Wind gusting to 20 mph Current temp 1.4c Can't believe that less than an hour ago the temp was 7.9c with winds gusting to nearly 50 mph. -- Graham |

Winter wonderland is back!
