An interesting afternoon............. Cloud breaks from 1300 - 1430, with sunny spells. Then cloudy again, with light or moderate rain from 1500. Single peal of thunder and one lightning flash at 1515. Wind gusting to an estimated 30 - 35kt from 1515 - 25. Rainbow of moderate intensity observed 1540. Rain ceasing 1545 and cloud now down to half cover at 1550. Temperature fell from Max of +12.3 early afternoon to +9.3 during rain. Eric Belton |
