Default "For more details look at our web site"

It makes me hopping when the BBC forecast ends with an exhortation to
look at their website for more detail.

As has been commented on here many times before, the website does not
provide more detail, and is often quite useless.

A splendid example is that yesterday evening the website was
forecasting heavy snow for Dundee for Monday and Tuesday, but this
morning is forecasting clear and sunny.

And no mention of any rain at all, which is odd, given the current
severe weather warnings in force on the Met Office site.

I don't know why they are so keen to plug the web site. There's no
advertising on it. The BBCi weather in video slot is where they could
feature much more. The resources are all in place. 10 day forecasts,
pressure, temp profiling, global analysis etc etc. A rolling weather
channel. They could call it weather24.
