After a day of heavy snow showers and then heavy rain its all a bit chaotic
in the valley this morning. We have a severe flood warning from SEPA and the Tay is flooding. Our burn is brimming and a concern. Had a hairy trip over the high road yesterday, just past Amulree I was caught in a white-out with blowing snow whipping over dykes and blowing the car around, just made it. On the way back I went the long way and then it was driving rain and high winds. The noise outside my door of the moaning wires and the roaring burn is alarming. Looks like our route into town will be under water, as is the caravan park. Snow-melt is the culprit.. brian aberfeldy |
