Dear All,

Friday looks particularly ropey depending on the models you look at but the
18z GFS T+108 wins with the best "armageddon" scenario - saved to Picasa
before the forecast changes !

I can see a 55kt sustained wind barb over land being suggested in western
Scotland, 70kt sustained over the sea in and around the Hebrides.

Why is everyone getting so excited about what looks like a 2 day wonder,
still I suppose it's better than the 1 day wonder we had earlier this

This was more the low pressure than the cold that got my attention. On
Sunday all 4 models were agreed on a strong area of low pressure over
Scandinavia. Quite rare you see agreement at that sort of verification
time. Just thought it was of interest to all on here...
