If you have Sky there are some really interesting scenes of the bad
weather and transport chaos on the quite frequent news broadcasts on
the English channel of Chinese TV, CCTV9 Channel 511 on Sky. The Chinese
Met Service are predicting even worse conditions in some parts with
little if any let up before 2 Feb.

Best times for details re the snow situation on the English Channel of
Chinese TV are at 6pm (all GMTt imes), 7pm,8pm, and10pm or during the
day at noon,or 1pm. These are all half-an-hour news broadcasts.
