Dear Sir
While it is great that you post on this group ,it is a uk
weather
group and I feel you should be posting on your own countries site.I know
we
have the Brussels and Greek guy and the same could be said for them .It
does
gaul me a bit when you are constantly talking snow in winter and we have
so
little .Comments please.

I enjoy Bob's posts and see no reason why he shouldn't post here.
OK they get more snow there but why that gauls you says more about you
than it does about anything else.

So do I.
I think the common interest is the fact that the winter climate can vary
so widely over the northern hemisphere. Us with our balmy climate
so far north (to him) and him with his fridgid one so far south (to us).

Perhaps the best thing for Bob to do would be to put 'OT' in
the header so that anybody who really doesn't want to read it
can easily filter it out.

The weather does not respect international boundaries so I would
be very wary of encouraging a policy where anything other than
discussion of UK weather was frowned upon.

Absolutely. And that goes for Yannis and Colin too. Otherwise we're
confined to the BBC way of looking at it, where the weather mysteriously
stops happening even though the actual map continues....

Click on the link Bob and it'll take you to my blog.
I reckon I could be the only person in the world with the name Gareth
Slee.
Well no-one has contacted me to tell me different :-)

Couldn't agree more. Keep posting Bob, I read your posts with interest
(Colin and Yannis too) It adds some variety to the NG, I find your
posts
on your "Normal climate" fascinating, if we had a week of your average
winter climate the UK media would consist of little other news.
Glad to hear your feeling better. BTW if you read this...when do you
normally
get your last winter/spring snowfall??

All the best,

Ian, (Raunds, Northants) 55 miles North of London.*

Jim I think you're mistaken. I enjoy the "news" from Canada and it's
"on-topic" in as much as it is weather related.
