Just had a visitor and she got all excited when it started snowing hard, she was
a bit worried about driving back to Plymouth too :-) I told her it would be OK.
Son reported rain down below and snow level at first cattle grid on moor coming
up from Bovey (circa 250m asl).

Mod, persistent sleet has turned to snow here in Exwick, temp 3.2C and
falling steadily from an earlier max of 6.5C. I'm about 300ft amsl on the NW
boundary of Exeter.
