...now the February cold spell is over.
Very slow thaw during the day, but it has picked up since dusk with an increasing breeze and rise in humidity. Will this be the coldest day of the month? Quite possibly (probably). Max 2.6 early afternoon, currently 2.4. -- David Mitchell, 70m amsl, Langtoft, East Riding of Yorkshire. |

![]() ..now the February cold spell is over. Very slow thaw during the day, but it has picked up since dusk with an increasing breeze and rise in humidity. Will this be the coldest day of the month? Quite possibly (probably). Max 2.6 early afternoon, currently 2.4. Won't be here in North Staffordshire as temperature on the rise again after a cold day now up to 4.7c. Would imaging be higher still by the time we get to 09.00 Sunday so will be recorded as yet another mild day. Still the days are getting longer another few weeks and it'll be another Winter we can quickly forget! -- Graham |
