Default [OBS] Raunds, East Northants. Fri 08-02-2008.

0900z S F1, 4000m, BR, 4St, +5.7/+5.2, 1031.4 (F)

09-09z Tx +10.6, Tn +3.9, Tg +1.1, rain Tr (dew, mist)

RMK: Clear spells overnight. Glanced out at 0640z, mist
2000m with 8 St/Sc. Cloud started to thin and break very
rapidly at 0835z. Grass, trees and shrubs wet. Concrete
dry to damp. Fine and mild morning.

Just flown over Greenland on way to USA, plenty of sea ice ,didnt see polar
bears though.

Interesting, but the connection to Raunds escapes me for the minute.

Ice off E Greenland is still below normal but the Davis Strait has more than
usual.
