Just been looking at the forecast for Regina in Saskatchewen, Canada for
Saturday morning.....

-32C with a windchill of -51C. This in a modern city with normal roads, shops
etc. Who fancies going to the supermarket?

You can just imagine this in tthis country's 'forecast-speak'.
'The temperature will be -32C but if you add on the strength
of the wind it will 'feel like' -51C, so wrap up warm!'

It may be a personality defect, but I can't see much wrong with that.

Moaning about it won't change anything so why do it?

I'm not moaning, just taking a light-hearted look at how
such a forecast might be expressed in UK-speak.

Don't take me too seriously
