in your own way I think you are correct in principal. The Met Office
are just going with the flow. If todays fashion is global warming they
will go along with it and try and make money and as soon as the next
fashion of 'the coming ice age' arrives they will adjust their story.
It's just business - that's the way the system works today. I don't
believe a word any politician says and when it comes to tomorrows
weather I prefer to have a look at the satellite pic and draw my own
conclusions! (Doh, that is assuming they are putting out real satpics!)

It is pretty obvious to me that they do not. All evidence of flying
saucers has been removed. (Check any satpic to veryfy this.) If they
are willing to do that at the bidding of Gordon Brown, Tony Blair and
Maggie Thatcher, etc. then it makes one wonder if those clouds they
show are real. They claim that global warming will not only raise
temperatures but also cause more evaporation and clouds. Have they
added those clouds in order to justify increased funding to
investigate climate change?

I wrote to the Met Office about this, but they did not reply. Very
suspicious! Perhaps, I should write to the BBC and they could do a
Horizon program about it :-)

coldest winter for 40 odd years, no seemingly batted an eye-lid.Yet as
the Minister for health how long would it have taken to get the facts
from the same UKMO that professes to have such a good working

years; this predicted climate change must come as a bit of a shock to

too bad in the last hundred years of warming have we and come to think
of it things seemed to improve after the little ice age. So why are

I presume you meant she said it was the warmest for 40 years, or was
her mind on other things. I believe the Italians are going to throw
her husband in jail along with Belasconi, the Mafia's answer to Rupert

Last night on BBC 4 there was a repeat of an Iain Stewart's program.
He pointed out that although the planet will recover from whatever we
throw at it, we might not!
