Colin Youngs Brussels 9 dead as 'Hurricane Emma' strikes Europe http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=920_1204402048 That's the website the Nazis in California shut down the other day. "Hurricane Emma Kills 9 In Central Europe. At least nine people have lost their lives in Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic as Hurricane Emma struck central Europe. One of Germany's high speed trains was taken out of action and several rail lines were closed as winds reached 190 kilometres an hour. Three people died in Germany. In some areas, heavy rainfall caused flooding as well. In Austria the death toll reached four, including two German tourists, with at least two of the people killed by trees blown down by high winds. Some 10,000 households in the north of the country have been left without electricity. Skiers in the Alps were warned to take extra care after a metre of snow fell and a Bundesliga football match was cancelled. Across the countries hit by Emma, the damage is estimated to be worth tens of millions of euros. Weather experts say winds are likely to pick up again on Sunday morning. In the Czech Republic, two people died - an 11-year-old girl who was crushed by a falling tree and a man, 80, who was hit by a piece of metal. Around 100,000 people are without electricity and transport has been disrupted throughout the country." Glad to see they couldn't touch the European servers. This is a site the Nazis took over as they invaded Iraq: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7272373.stm "Passengers on the West Coast railway line have been hit by severe delays after containers from two freight trains fell onto tracks in high winds. The winds, which battered much of England overnight, left freight on the tracks at Shap in Cumbria. Network Rail said services around Shap would not resume until at least Monday. The line between Tring and Bletchley, where more freight landed on the track, was due to reopen but delays were expected for several hours." |

news:fqdv8p$kce$1 : Why "Hurricane Emma" ? It is a wrong translation of the German word "Orkan" which is used to describe storm force winds in our part of the world. See the beginning of the headline here http://www.welt.de/vermischtes/artic...rwuestung.html Colin Youngs Brussels |
