Default Another quick "gut feel" forecast

After a brief fine couple of days next weekend looks wet, windy and cold and
a potential storm on Monday. Plenty of hill snow and rain and strong winds.
Then another cold northerly interlude, very cold in Scotland and then ....
just possibly some warm and dry weather the following weekend as the
wavelength shifts eastwards, but also a risk of a cold east or northeasterly
if the high ends up in the "wrong" place.

I emphasise this is all "gut feel" looking at the hemispheric patterns.

Yes- I have noticed on the site I use this potential event - a
suggested 944mb value. It has been very pleasant down here in Dorset
recently - a lovely drive up to Wells for a match yesterday with
superb visibility and a great sunset.

EC and UKMET in good agreement for a secondary low at around T+144.
One to keep an eye on.

If the High ends up in the right place then a repeat of 2003??? so far this
year or fairly similar. And then u'll be dissapointed.
