Default Good Friday snow

We had a heavy snow shower between 0500 & 0520hr this morning in
Coventry, with snow lying on cars and grass surfaces.

This is the first local snow during the 4 day Easter weekend since
1998 - in that year, there was snow on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Observations courtesy of Keiron Carroll, who was awake to observe our
Easter snowfall!

We've had snow here. It was lying on cars when I went to be
about 0100, and there have been several more blustery snow
showers intermittently during the day today between bright sunny
periods. The snow isn't lying, however.

We had a fresh, light covering above c.400 metres. We've now had lying
snow visible since 4th January.
