Agreed I was in Slough about 4.30pm and it was sunny and one could almost
say a lovely afternoon if a bit blowy but then we heard the onset of thunder in the distance then suddenly the whole place went dark with a hailstorm of moderate capability and more thunder. The approach was rapid. Obviously it moved rapidly SE --saw the tail end probably as it was hitting you - looked enormous. Dave R [west London} "Kate Brown" wrote in message ... Bang on 5pm.
