Here is a summary of the NWP output for noon on Wednesday.
Issued 0545, 22nd March 2008 The latter half of the working week will see cool and unsettled conditions across the UK, with a col on Thursday giving way to an Atlantic low for Friday and the weekend. Snow is likely over the hills of Scotland, but for most it'll be cold rain. Analysis and evolution to T+120 via GFS http://85.214.49.20/pics/Rtavn001.png Low pressure covers Germany, while high pressure extends from SW of Iceland to north of the Azores. Strong to gale force northerlies and NNW'lies cover the UK. Tomorrow a trough moves southwards over the UK, with NW'lies in advance and NNW'lies following behind. There are further NW'lies on Monday as low pressure deepens to the east. The low deepens further on Tuesday, with further NW'lies over the UK.
