Default Resluts of ****ed Off with it already

I make it 7 -3 in favour of "****ed off with it already". Which I'm
staggered at but feel more positive because I must admit I tended to believe
the pro snow/slush lobby on this one. Those I put as in favour of the
motion, My Motion that is, GKN, Chris Smith, Dave Cornwall Denis Allen,
Neil, Anne Burgess (assumed result) Joe Eggington. Stalwarts and die hards:
Darren Prescott, Will Hand and someone called Ian Finding are as today at
1425hrs
Thanks to you all. Today's weather is even more wretched but I guess the die
hards are revelling in it. Its been snowing all morning here. I bet Will is
really jealous.

You can add me against the motion, I'm definitely pro.
It's March, so far preferable to have cold snow than cold rain, it's far
more interesting. You can hardly complain because that's the type of weather
we get this time of year. 70+ we can have from April to October if you like,
but the white stuff is increasingly rare so deserves to be appreciated.
Imagine the discussion in your household 20 years from now, as you wax
lyrical about the good old days of snow to your grand-children on your knee,
as they listen open-mouthed with incredulity as you describe events you can
remember when you were their age. (Apologies for ageing you, or not!).
Bring it on.
(Just had a mini-blizzard here).

I agree with all that. The only thing I had against the
present cold spell was the wind (which I never like anyway) but that
has now dropped out almost entirely down here and we have had a couple
of quite heavy snow showers with the stuff falling almost vertically.
Rather nice. Another point about March snow, certainly in the present
era, is that it is unlikely to last long whereas in Dec/Jan/Feb you
could be stuck with it for some time. A couple of inches and the
roads down here just jam up completely and I like to get out.

Can't imagine how you put me in favour of your motion! I am probably second
only to Will on here for being a snow fan. Possibly my "call me Lily" as a
lily livered follower slipped passed your wit. Most of the other snow lovers
probably didn't feel the need to defend their personal preferences ;-)

Not at all. Got on with some work in the garden without having the
distraction of snow.
It'll snow again up here for sure. Gorgeous views from the house today too,
you could almost touch the sea 12 miles away the air is so clear.

Dave R. You misssed my vote!! in the snow/slush camp.
You have quite a nerve suggesting I'm a moron for describing
early Feb with 7.5 hrs sun, and 14C as springlike, when
clearly are unable to count, Try using your fingers????
This is my last post for several weeks due to work commitments,
Hope I find you less of a moron in may!!

What the heck are you on about.
1. I didnt miss your vote at all as if you read the first post it clearly
mentions you as Ian I dont know if Raunds is your surname or if it is a
place in East Northants so I put .. Stalwarts and die hards: Darren
Prescott, Will Hand and someone called Ian
2. I dont recall calling you a moron for describing early Feb with 7.5 hrs
sun, and 14C as springlike. Can you paste the comment I am supposed to have
made. Thank you.

You can count me in the pro snow lobby until around May 2nd when the
ski season in the Alps finishes.

After that I'll willingly cross the chamber to sunshine and showers
(and not too much heat!)
