Jon. Thanks John, As that location is about 6 miles to my east I'm trying to compare my readings as I have a feeling I am recording a little low. For me the @ 18z I recorded 2.4mm, then a further 1.2mm after 18z. I have an old plastic rain gauge, which is probably less reliable but upto 18z that recorded 4.2mm and on the 27th it recorded 7.8mm whereas my AWS recorded 5.2mm, such is life ;-) Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net |
