Hi, All,
Blooming daffodil NE Pennine report
09Z-09Z30th March 2008

Lead Mill 218m
Max 9.7C min 3.8C

Met O 253m
Max 9.1C min 3.6C grass 0.9C rain 19.9mm sun yesterday 4.3hr patchy
snow lying 50%

First daffodil flowering and I'm about to transfer sprouts seedlings
into the cold frame which now has a brand new cover. Last year's cover
is a mere shredding thanks to Mr Lee Wave. Snow gone from grass, so a
cut might be in order next week. Sun total for March now 133hr(119%)

Daffs out here for a while. Gorgeous out in the garden today, currently
12.9c, but I can't see a cut necessary for a couple of weeks yet. Longer
hopefully!

You're ahead of me in the sunshine stakes Ken. Today's sunshine has managed
to push the total up to 126 hours so far this month which is some 10 hours
less than for February (and that was a shorter month!).

No snow here, didn't even see a flake fall; just lots of rain.

March mean temp +0.1C eLTA (Exeter Airport) with 7.4C, (0.4C lower than
March 2007).
