Default Haytor weather station award

Just heard from Dartmoor National Park that Haytor Weather Station is to
receive an award for recording the most variable weather in the Park.
Apparently I am to be taken to the top of High Wilhays at 621m asl to
receive a plaque which I can attach to my Davis VP2 (goodness knows how?).

Well I never!

Nice one! How on earth have they defined the "most variable" weather
on Dartmoor? Do tell! BTW, It is WAY after noon! These people who will
take you to the top of High Wilhays........have you checked them out??
If they are wearing Liederhosen, playing fiddles and sporting top
hats, don't get on the bus, would be my advice. It'll be the same lot
that led Lord Lucan and Shergar astray! *))

I wondered if someone was puling Will's leg, earlier in the day when he
heard about it.

Ah but Will says "Just heard from Dartmoor National Park ..." now I'd read
that to be within a couple of hours at most of the posting, not over 7.
Now if he'd said "Heard this morning from...". B-)
