It's ok, more especially if you use the tree view, but you will get large quantities of spam postings and you will be unable to killfile anyone. There is a not very good Killfile for it if you use Firefox with Greasemonkey. http://www.penney.org/ggkiller.html https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748 A tip for using it is not to killfile a series of people or threads but refresh after each addition to the filter. It will get rid of posts everyone ignores but shows up any that get a reply. And sometimes people you ignore will return. I think that depends on their settings or newsreader. Perhaps those using encryption or anonymous posters? |
