OAT now 2.0°C & PPN finally ceased ~0840Z .. hung on quite some time
from the rearward overhang of cloud. Sun started breaking through
around 0820Z, with occasional strong shafts of sunshine.
Currently, 7Ci (dense), with retreating Cs/Ac to south (no more than 2
oktas) and some embryo Cu which is showing signs of rapid, vigorous
development over the adjacent Channel waters.
Snow on surface thawing rapidly - would not count as a 'snow-lying'
event if doing standard climatological OB.

Snowed moderately in the East Cliff/Southbourne area of Bournemouth this
morning until approximately 0930Z. Some snow settled but hardly enough
to count as anything. This was the view from Point House in Southbourne,
looking towards Hengistbury Head at about that time:
