Brussels on Wednesday 16th April
Sunny morning – scattered small Cu by midday. Rather a lot of shallow Cu early in the afternoon but sunshine again later with decreasing cloud. Clear evening. Still not warm – light wind from between N and E. Brussels Uccle 11.3°C - overnight minimum 0.1°C. That defines British winters and the character of its most prized precipitate. That's because the phenomenon relies on a not too common set up : An High, preferably over Greenland and a Low, preferably over Norway/ Sweden. At the moment we have a similar set up: An Low over Greenland and an High over Norway/Sweden. No reason for it not to provide the usual but... interesting. Dull and drab perhaps but interesting. |
