Default Plenty of sun in Brussels but still not warm

Brussels on Wednesday 16th April

Sunny morning – scattered small Cu by midday. Rather a lot of
shallow Cu early in the afternoon but sunshine again later with
decreasing cloud. Clear evening. Still not warm – light wind from
between N and E.

Brussels Uccle 11.3°C - overnight minimum 0.1°C.
Brussels Airport 10.5°C - overnight minimum -0.9°C

Warm, wet, snow.
That defines British winters and the character of its most prized
precipitate.

That's because the phenomenon relies on a not too common set up :
An High, preferably over Greenland and a Low, preferably over Norway/
Sweden.

At the moment we have a similar set up:
An Low over Greenland and an High over Norway/Sweden.

No reason for it not to provide the usual but... interesting. Dull and
drab perhaps but interesting.

Yes Tomorrow whilst WH's famous an Low is to the SW of Greenland we will now
have a High over Iceland instead and a Low over Brest and the channel [note:
I thought the inclusion of "an" only came before an AEIO or U]
Making any sense out of WL's posts are extremely taxing to even the most
most brave of us.
