Default [WR] Whistlefield : Highest Temperature so far this Year.

A very nice spring day with constant sunshine and about 2/8 Cu. Maximum
temperature was 15.0°C at 15:29z, the highest so far this year. The West
of Scotland 'walled garden' effect is obviously alive and well.

Sounds wonderful!

Still continuous moderate rain here (over 20 mm now), fog has thinned a bit
but still very gloomy.
Sunshine NIL and max. temperature +6.3C. How many degrees latitude south of
you am I? :-)

Roughly about 6 degrees further south.

Today really been dreadful here in Devon. It has been drizzling/light rain
all day. Such a contrast to just a few days ago when we had a succession of
days with cloudless skies.

And hasn't it been cold! I was sowing some parsnip and onion seeds in the
greenhouse today and the thermometer in there did not go above 11C today; it
was knocking on 35C on most days this week.

Max today of 8.3C and 6.8 mm of rain. Second day this month without any
sunshine.

Thankfully it is looking like this cold, wet weather by next weekend will be
just a distant memory!
