A wet April here in mid-Cheshire, 94.8 mm (5" gauge, with 14.5 obs'd on the
12th, 18.5 on the 13th, and 12.0 on the 28th), almost double the 30-year
average of nearest MetO stations at Manchester Airport and Shawbury of 48.1
mm.

The 110.0 mm measured here is about normal for our Aprils based on a
six-year average (105.9mm).
